My Artwork is an investigation on the human condition; the internal world of the body and mind (and soul and spirit), as well as the external world and the natural forces that govern it. I am deeply inspired by and passionate about mathematics and physics, and the separation of science and art feels like a trick to me. I am interested in integrating dualities and polarities, engaging glass blown and sculpted objects with video and electrical lighting to create a sculptures that are a combination of physical matter and energy. To me these sculptures express the alignment and unity of parts to make up a whole, without detracting from the parts themselves.
I love adventuring, collaborating with other passionate people, teaching, and creation in general. In her free time, you will find her reading, journaling, or listening to Phillip Glass (no pun intended!).
